Glory Gladden

KU ASME President (chair) at ASME

Glory Gladden is a dedicated mechanical engineering student at the University of Kansas, actively engaged in a range of leadership and internship roles. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Henderson Engineers, Glory also holds multiple leadership positions within various organizations, including President of the KU ASME and Co-Lead for the SELF Highschool Design Technical Competition. Contributions extend to community service as Project Manager for a collaboration with Be More Like Claire. Notable experience includes a research internship focused on biotechnology in spine biomechanics, as well as roles in the Society of Women Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers. Previous leadership includes Team Captain of FIRST Team 5268 and various fabrication and design roles that emphasize skills in communication, CAD design, and project management. Education includes ongoing studies at the University of Kansas, following foundational coursework at Johnson County Community College.
