Isaac Vela is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Florida, expected to graduate in December 2025 with a minor in Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering. Vela previously earned an Honors Associate in Arts degree with a STEM specialization from Santa Fe College, where they tutored math and science subjects. Currently, Vela serves as the President of the Innovative Additive Manufacturing 3D (IAM3D) and is an Integrated Product and Process Design (IPPD) Scribe, while also contributing to the Machine Intelligence Laboratory in the design of subsystems for an autonomous submarine. Vela is passionate about mentoring younger engineers and aims to become a well-rounded professional in the field.
