Jake Byrnes

Jake Byrnes is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University. They hold the position of Modular Drone Team Lead in the ASME, where they coordinate with over 35 members and develop project goals while modeling drone flight characteristics in ANSYS. Jake has also served as a Hovercraft Race Team Member, contributing to the design and prototyping of hovercraft components. Additionally, they work as an Ice Resurfacer at Pegula Ice Arena and serve as an Arena Specialist at Colorado College, leveraging their experience to improve operational efficiency. Their past experience includes a design engineering internship where they ensured compliance with manufacturing standards.
