Jeff Winters is an accomplished editor with extensive experience in the field of science and engineering journalism. Currently serving as Editor in Chief of Mechanical Engineering magazine at ASME since September 2002, Jeff has also held the position of Senior Editor there. Prior experience includes Senior Editor at The Sciences for the New York Academy of Sciences, where collaboration with top writers and scientists produced award-winning articles. Additional editorial experience includes serving as Online Editor for Discover Magazine and volunteer teaching science and math with the Peace Corps in Ghana. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and English from DePauw University and pursued further education at the University of Oregon.
