Keith Roe

Keith Roe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chair of the Philanthropy Committee at ASME since July 2019, Keith Roe was previously the President of ASME from July 2016 to June 2017, completing a three-year leadership cycle. With a long tenure at Burns & Roe Services Corp since September 1974, Keith Roe held the position of Chairman and President (ret), after leading the organization as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer at Burns & Roe Enterprises Inc. from January 1974 to June 2014, overseeing operations of an international engineering and construction firm. Keith Roe began a distinguished career serving as a Lieutenant in the US Navy from September 1968 to January 1971, where duty included deployment on a destroyer supporting naval operations during the Vietnam War. Educational credentials include a Master's and Engineer's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University.
