Akram Shokri

Akram Shokri, EngD, is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering roles across various esteemed organizations. Currently at ASML since January 2021, Akram specializes in software engineering. Previous experience includes an impactful role at the Eindhoven University of Technology as a PDEng Software Design Engineer, along with a position at the European Space Agency where Akram designed a Sentiment Analysis tool for astronauts. Other significant roles include Software Architect at Volvo Cars, Product Owner at Bosch Security and Safety Systems, and Senior Software Engineer at Alibaba Travels Co. Akram holds a Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng) in Software Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology, a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Iran University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Tehran. Additionally, teaching experience at the University of Semnan and Shahrood University of Technology has contributed to strong instructional capabilities in programming and artificial intelligence.
