Alex Yanson

Alex Yanson is a Senior Architect at ASML, where they focus on enhancing the defectivity performance of EUV machines for profitable high-volume manufacturing. Previously, Alex served as a Senior Scientist at cosine BV, working on Wolter-type x-ray optics for the ESA ATHENA satellite, and held postdoctoral positions at Cornell University and Leiden University, studying organic conductors and solid-state chemical switches, respectively. Alex earned a PhD from Universiteit Leiden and holds a Master's degree from Harkivs'kij Nacional'nij Universitet. They also completed a Bachelor's degree at the University of Maine.
