Alexander Milbrat is a Materials Scientist and Coating and Surface Specialist with a Ph.D. in materials science and (photo)electrochemistry. Currently, they work at ASML in Development & Engineering for EUV optics lifetime. Alexander has significant experience in electrochemistry, materials science, and project management, including an eight-month project on energy storage and a twenty-month role as lab manager in the PhotoCatalytic Synthesis group. They have also conducted research in both the USA and the Netherlands, contributing to various projects and mentoring students during their academic career.
