Alfonso Isola

Alfonso Isola is a Senior Data Scientist at ASML, having transitioned to this role in October 2023. They earned a Ph.D. from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2010 with a dissertation on motion compensated iterative reconstruction for cardiac X-ray tomography. Prior to their current position at ASML, Alfonso worked for over a decade at Philips Research in Eindhoven, focusing on medical imaging and numerical optimization, and has held research roles in both Hamburg and Hengelo. They hold an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Catania, where they specialized in methodologies for characterizing Parkinson's disease. Alfonso is also a certified Scaled Agile SAFe® 5 Scrum Master and Product Owner/Product Manager.
