Bart Noordam

Bart Noordam (1964) is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and the Presidents’ Office at ASML, where they oversee Corporate Strategy, Strategic Business Development, and Government Affairs, among other areas. They obtained a PhD in Physics (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam and began their career at the FOM-Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics (AMOLF), studying light-atom interactions and supervising numerous PhD students. Bart has held various positions, including director roles at AMOLF and the Randstedelijke Rekenkamer, and served as Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Amsterdam. They have authored a series of columns in Science titled "Mastering your PhD," aimed at guiding doctoral students.
