Bart van Tongeren

Bart van Tongeren has over three decades of experience in software architecture and engineering, currently serving as a Software Architect at ASML since November 2001, where responsibilities include designing fundamental frameworks and libraries for the company's scanner product lines. Prior to ASML, Bart worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Philips Medical Systems from October 1994 to October 2001, focusing on the design and implementation of hard real-time data acquisition systems for MRI scanners. Bart's academic foundation includes a PhD from Delft University of Technology, where research centered on developing a framework for modeling and analyzing Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy data, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Twente, obtained in 1989.
