Charlie Smart

Charlie Smart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management within high-tech industries. Currently serving as Lead Technologist at ASML since March 2011, Charlie has held pivotal roles including Principal Architect for New Product Industrialization and Group Lead for Supplier Quality Engineering, overseeing a team responsible for the industrialization of complex systems. Prior to ASML, Charlie held leadership positions at Dymax Corporation, managing engineering teams in an ISO environment, and at M Cubed Technologies, focusing on process development for precision products. Earlier career experience includes serving as General Manager at New Horizon Machine Co., Inc., where responsibilities involved overseeing fabrication and assembly for diverse sectors such as semiconductor and aerospace. Charlie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport.
