Chennan Hu is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in photonics technology and optics. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at ASML since June 2017, Chennan Hu has held multiple roles including Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to ASML, Chennan Hu worked at the Center for Photonics Technology from October 2010 to May 2017 as a Research Staff member, focusing on independent research and mentoring graduate students, and as a Research Assistant. Chennan Hu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Fiber Optics Sensing from Virginia Tech, obtained in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics and Optics from the University of Science and Technology of China, completed in 2010.
