Dongchi Yu

Dongchi Yu is a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in flow and thermal domain architecture at ASML, a position held since 2019. With a PhD in Mechanical/Ocean Engineering from UC Berkeley, completed in 2018, they have a strong background in marine hydrodynamics and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Previously, Dongchi served as a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley and as a Research Assistant at Tianjin University, where they contributed to ship motion simulations and model tests for the China National Offshore Oil Corporation. Their expertise includes experimental investigations, GPU programming, and sensor design, among other fields.
