Elbert van Putten

Elbert van Putten is a Senior Researcher at ASML, specializing in optics, nanophotonics, and medical technology. They obtained a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Twente and completed a Ph.D. there, focusing on revolutionary techniques for imaging through opaque materials. Prior to their current role, Elbert worked as a Senior Designer at Philips and a Research Scientist at Philips Research, where they contributed to advancements in fiber optic technology and new microscopy techniques. They also gained experience through an international internship at the University of California, Irvine, focusing on CARS microscopy.
