Ertan Zaferoglu

Ertan Zaferoglu is a team lead in Human Safety at ASML, where they oversee Mechanical Human Safety Competences, focusing on human factors, mechanical safety, and working at height. With 20 years of experience in the machinery, aviation, and semiconductor industries, they previously served as Integrated Product Team Lead for cockpit systems at Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii and as Chief of Human System Integration at TUSAŞ. Ertan holds a Master’s degree in Media and Cultural Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, both from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi. They are also a certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE®) by TÜV NORD.
