Farshid Abbasi

Farshid Abbasi, Ph.D., is a Sr Research Project Lead with extensive experience in filtering, signal processing, and data-driven algorithms, primarily focused on artificial intelligence applications, deep learning, and computer vision. Farshid has worked at ASML as a Senior Controls Engineer and in various leadership roles, overseeing algorithm architecture and technical project management. Previously, Farshid was a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia, where they developed machine learning algorithms for system identification and automation of dynamical processes, and also completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tabriz, along with a Ph.D. in Systems and Controls from the University of Georgia.
