Fred de Jong

Fred de Jong is a senior system engineer at ASML, a position held since 1997, where they are responsible for overlay performance. They completed a PhD in nuclear physics at the University of Groningen from 1981 to 1992 and subsequently held postdoctoral positions in nuclear physics at the University of Georgia and the University of Giessen, Germany, from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, Fred obtained a bachelor’s degree in law from Utrecht University and a master’s degree in law and technology from Tilburg University between 2003 and 2011.
