Guido Florussen has extensive experience in the fields of engineering and standardization, currently serving as Chairman of TC39/SC2 at the International Organization for Standardization since October 2016. With a background in precision engineering, Guido obtained a Dr.Ir. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, where Guido also completed a PhD and postdoctoral research. Guido has held roles at ASML as a Senior Optical Engineer since August 2023 and previously worked as a Metrology Expert at IBS Precision Engineering from January 2004 to July 2021. An exchange student at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, Guido specialized in Atomic Force Microscopy in 1994.
