Hao Huang

Hao Huang is a Senior Optical Engineer at ASML since February 2023, focusing on the development of metrology modules for deep ultraviolet lasers. Previously, Hao served as an Associate Member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society and worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from January 2016 to February 2023, where responsibilities included the development of a control system for the Zettawatt-Equivalent Ultrashort pulse laser System and an ultra-short Long-wave Infrared laser source. Additionally, Hao held several roles as a Graduate Student Instructor for courses including Introductory Physics Labs and Surface Chemistry. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, a Master of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, and a Graduate Certificate in Computational Discovery and Engineering, all from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Opto-electronic Technology and Science from Tianjin University.
