Jin Cheng

Jin Cheng is a Senior Software Engineer II at ASML, where they have been involved in developing a geometry-based etch model and implementing image-based machine learning models since 2019. Previously, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ASML from 2017 to 2019, focusing on contour tracing algorithms and a distributed machine learning framework called Newron. Jin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from Princeton University, where their research included applying density-functional embedding theory and developing innovative coding solutions.
