Johan Engelen

Johan Engelen is an accomplished architect specializing in wafer clamping EUV and a principal architect with extensive experience in robotics, mechatronics, and compiler development. They served as an assistant professor at Universiteit Twente and as a post-doctoral fellow at IBM Zurich Research Laboratory, where they led significant research projects in magnetic tape recording technology. Currently, Johan works as a D compiler consultant, enhancing the open-source LDC compiler for the D programming language, and has made notable contributions to the open-source community. They hold a Master's and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente, graduating cum laude.
