John Mathew is a high power CO2 laser expert with a PhD in Physics. They have extensive experience in building optical and electrical experimental setups, specializing in opto-/electro-mechanical systems and nano-fabrication techniques. John worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at AMOLF from 2016 to 2019, where they developed nanophotonic systems for nonreciprocal transport of signals. Prior to that, they were a Research Scholar at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research from 2011 to 2016, focusing on nanoscale electromechanical systems. Currently, John is a Senior Optical Engineer at ASML.
