Karien van Gennip

Karien van Gennip is an accomplished international board member and advisor, currently serving on the Supervisory Board of ASML and as a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations. With a distinguished background as the former Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, they have held significant roles, including CEO of ING France and CEO of Coöperatie VGZ. Their extensive experience encompasses leadership positions in diverse sectors, including financial services, healthcare, and corporate governance. Karien has also been deeply involved in numerous organizations, such as the Royal Dutch Orchestra and the International Chamber of Commerce, demonstrating a strong commitment to both economic and social causes. They earned an Ir degree from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.
