Kumarasiri Konthasinghe

Kumarasiri Konthasinghe is a Senior Optical Sensing Engineer at ASML, where they focus on advanced optical techniques. They completed a PhD in Applied Physics at the University of South Florida, alongside a Master’s degree in the same field. Kumarasiri has also held positions as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Institute of Optics, University of Rochester, and a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Peradeniya. Their research interests include coherent control of semiconductor quantum dots, NV magnetometry, and standoff detection of fissile materials.
