Luke Calkins

Luke Calkins is currently a Product Owner and Senior Controls Engineer at ASML, leading a team to deliver automation software for EUV light sources. Previously, they served as a Senior Controls Engineer at ASML, where they designed and integrated optimization algorithms for stable plasma production. Luke's earlier experience includes roles as a Test Engineer at Cymer and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman Corporation. They hold a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego, where they graduated as the Valedictorian. Their research interests encompass robotics, control theory, tracking, machine learning, and acoustics.
