Luuk Backer

Luuk Backer is an experienced professional with a robust background in project and program management within the semiconductor and IT industries. Since July 2011, Luuk has served as a Senior Cluster PMO at ASML, shaping management reports for organizational insights. Prior to this, Luuk held dual roles at Capgemini as a Consultant and Sector Resource Allocation Manager, focusing on governance and resource management. Additional project management experience includes leading significant workspace migrations for the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, the Dutch Department of Waterways and Public Works, and KPN, along with early career roles in sales and workshop facilitation. An accomplished professional athlete, Luuk played professional volleyball in the Dutch Premier League, achieving a national championship. Luuk holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Engineering & Management from The Hague University and a Propedeuse in Technische Bestuurskunde from Delft University of Technology.
