Maarten van Weert is an architect at ASML in the Development & Engineering department, a position held since 2012. Prior to this, Maarten completed a PhD at both Philips Research and Delft University of Technology, focusing on "Quantum dots in vertical nanowire devices" from 2006 to 2010. In 2005, Maarten worked as a junior scientific assistant at AMOLF, where they contributed to the growth and optical characterization of gallium phosphide nanowires. Maarten holds a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, completed in 2005, and has also studied Physics at San Diego State University in 2003.
