Marcel Van Amstel is an experienced professional in the field of software engineering, currently serving as a Product Development Manager at ASML since January 2012, with prior roles as Project Cluster Manager, Project Leader, and Design Engineer, focusing on software design and development in the metrology image quality domain. Marcel completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology, where research centered on model-driven software engineering and the application of software metrics and visualization techniques to enhance model transformation quality. Previous experience includes a position as a Junior Researcher at LaQuSo, working on the MSQ project related to measuring size and quality in embedded software.
