Matthijs Cox is a Metrology Architect at ASML, focusing on enhancing engineer effectiveness and product outcomes in the development of advanced lithography machines. With a background as an Algorithm Architect and Design Engineer/Data Scientist, Matthijs has been involved in cross-functional projects utilizing Agile methodologies and integrating new sensor technologies. As the co-organizer of JuliaLang Eindhoven, Matthijs promotes numerical computing through local meetups and conferences. Previous experience includes founding the Symbionic Project at TMC to improve control algorithms for bionic hands, conducting PhD research in organic spintronics at Eindhoven University of Technology, and serving as an editor for the faculty magazine N!.
