Nima Ghods

Nima Ghods, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in control engineering and algorithm design. Currently serving as a Principal Control Engineer at ASML since August 2018, Nima also holds the position of Senior Project Lead and Subject Matter Expert. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Algorithms Engineer at General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems, where Nima designed algorithms for the Advanced Arresting Gear on aircraft carriers and utilized modern control techniques. Nima's background also encompasses substantial research and development contributions in energy-related projects at General Atomics Special Projects Office, as well as work on coordinating UAV fleets at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Nima's educational credentials include a PhD in Systems and Controls, an MEng in Aerospace Engineering, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, all obtained from UC San Diego.
