Pierre Ackermann

Pierre Ackermann is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Chassis External Engineer at WEB Eindhoven since November 2022, Pierre is contracted to DAF Trucks and focuses on regulatory standards and project planning for the New Generation DAF. Prior to this role, Pierre worked at Triz Engineering Solutions as a Mechanical Design Engineer, contributing to cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects for the Autocar DC product line. Pierre's earlier experience includes a tenure at Jonker Sailplanes, where responsibilities included FEM structural analysis and design for various components of the JS2 self-launching glider. Pierre holds a Master of Engineering in Composite Materials and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from North-West University.
