Rafael Howell is currently the VP of R&D at ASML, Inc., a position held since 2022. From 2010 to 2022, Rafael progressed through various roles at ASML, including Senior Engineer and Senior Director of Engineering, with a focus on computational lithography and optimization. Prior to ASML, Rafael was a Senior Application Scientist at n&k Technology, Inc. and completed a postdoctoral associate role at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Rafael holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Dartmouth College and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Vermont.
