Rick van der Maas

Rick van der Maas, born in 1985, earned an MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering with Great Appreciation from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in November 2011. They have been a PhD candidate since March 2012, focusing on advanced geometric calibration and control for medical X-ray systems through the MiXR Project in collaboration with Philips Healthcare. Rick's research emphasizes image processing, 3D image reconstruction, and system modeling. Their professional experience includes roles at ASML, where they progressed from Design Engineer to Group Team Lead, and previous engineering positions at Flex Industries and Chord F.P.E.
