Robert Klein

Robert Klein currently serves as the Head of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at ASML since July 2023, overseeing multiple teams responsible for product and non-product related materials and services at the Berlin site. Prior to ASML, Robert held several key roles at BIOTRONIK from July 2011 to June 2023, including Director of Procurement for the Business Unit Cardiac Rhythm Management, where the focus was on the procurement of both direct and indirect materials, as well as capital expenditures and services. Robert began his career at Biotronik Schweiz AG, establishing the Strategic Procurement function, and further built expertise in strategic procurement at ZF Group and KUKA, where responsibilities included managing procurement for machined/forged parts and developing a global sales network, respectively. Educational credentials include a Master of Business and Engineering from Steinbeis Hochschule and a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Mannheim.
