Rolf Koole is currently a Group Leader in Research at ASML, responsible for advancing innovative projects. Previously, they served as Chief Engineer at Fisher & Paykel Technologies, where they led the development and launch of new products focused on electric motor technologies. Rolf also held various roles at Philips, including Senior Scientist, and Group Leader at Philips Lighting, where they contributed to the groundbreaking Colorspark HLD technology. They earned a PhD in physical chemistry from Utrecht University, where their research centered on semiconductor nanocrystals and their bio-imaging applications. Rolf holds an MSc in Chemistry from Utrecht University as well.
