Rubab Ume is a Sr. Materials and Conditioning Engineer at ASML, currently involved in advancing material science. Previously, Rubab worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, focusing on phase change memory research for neuromorphic computing. Rubab has also held roles as a summer intern at IBM, where they studied thermal performance in phase change materials, and served as a lab instructor and tutor at SUNY Geneseo, where they taught physics and supported student learning. Rubab earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.
