Seong Chan Kim

Seong Chan Kim is a Senior Design Engineer at ASML, bringing extensive expertise in mechanical engineering, particularly in particle and aerosol technology. Seong earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Pusan National University, where they also obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree. Previously, Seong served as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, supervising students and conducting research on COVID-19 mitigation strategies and liquid filtration. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Entegris and researched various filtration technologies during their tenure as a Research Associate at the University of Minnesota.
