Smitha Varghese

Smitha Varghese is a Senior Optical Design Engineer at ASML, where they have been since 2016. Prior to this role, Smitha worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CSIRO and as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University. They also had a brief stint as a Technical Writer at Thorlabs in 2016. Smitha is currently pursuing degrees in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a Ph.D. in Physics/Photonics at Swinburne University of Technology, and in Computer Engineering & Information Technology at Cochin University of Science and Technology. Their expertise includes optical design, optical imaging, and biophotonics.
