Stef Janssens

Stef Janssens is a trained aerospace engineer from Delft University of Technology, where they earned both a BSc and an MSc in Aerospace Engineering. For their master's thesis, Stef designed a micropropulsion test stand for rocket thrusters. They completed a PhD at CERN, focusing on the nano positioning of magnets for the Compact Linear Collider, and later served as a Senior Fellow, contributing to the development of a full-size stabilization module. Transitioning to industry, Stef joined ASML as a research architect, leading projects in tribology and precision mechatronics, where they currently manage research initiatives.
