Stein van Eden

Sr. Researcher / Architect

Stein van Eden is a Sr. Researcher and Architect at ASML since September 2018, specializing in finding technical solutions within a multidisciplinary research team. Additionally, Stein has maintained a career as a classical pianist, performing solo and with the Andiamo Chamber Music Trio since 2016. Previously, Stein conducted PhD research at DIFFER on liquid metal plasma facing components for fusion reactors, with 16 publications including five as the first author. Experience includes a visiting scholar position at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, various internships in physics research, and freelance piano teaching. Stein holds a PhD in Applied Physics and multiple degrees in Experimental Physics and Music Performance from Utrecht University and HKU, respectively.
