Tim Komischke

Tim Komischke is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Industrial Strategy for Mechatronics and Mechanics at ASML, a position held since November 2022. Here, Tim leads cross-sector project teams and drives make/buy proposals for complex mechatronic modules across various ASML business lines. Prior to ASML, Tim worked as a Strategy and Business Development Manager at ABB, focusing on market evaluations and M&A activities, and gained strategic insights at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Associate, addressing corporate strategy and operations issues. Earlier experiences include research at ETH Zürich as a PhD student, where Tim optimized industrial manufacturing processes, internships at Volkswagen AG and HOERBIGER, and a role as a Data Analyst at SOLTAR AG. Tim holds a PhD and MS in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, along with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, and additional academic exposure at the National University of Singapore.
