Wouter Kegge

Wouter Kegge is a professional with extensive experience in plant biology and agricultural technology. As a PhD student at Utrecht University from 2008 to 2013, Kegge studied plant responses to environmental signals, particularly focusing on interactions between plants. Following this, a junior researcher role at the University of Lausanne involved work on G protein signaling. Kegge transitioned to competitive athletics as a national team duathlete, participating in European and World Championship events. A significant tenure at PlantLab from 2014 to 2018 involved developing high-tech agricultural solutions aimed at reducing pesticide usage and water consumption. Currently serving as a Configuration Management Expert at ASML, Kegge's post-doctoral research at Wageningen University centered on photosynthesis modeling to enhance predictions of plant development under varying conditions. Kegge holds degrees in Biology and Plant Biology from the University of Utrecht, along with training in coaching and systemic work.
