Yousef Shaheen

Yousef Shaheen, PhD, serves as a Supplier Quality Engineer at ASML since May 2022, focusing on new product introduction and supplier selection in collaboration with the Sourcing department, ensuring alignment between ASML and supplier technology capabilities. Prior to this role, Yousef was a PhD candidate at the University of Twente from August 2017 to April 2022, conducting research on laser powder bed fusion processes and integrating mechanical engineering with computational science through multiscale modeling. Additional experience includes working as a Scientific Software Developer at MercuryDPM.org, where Yousef developed mathematical models and data analysis tools, as well as a brief internship at Eramet in materials science. The educational background encompasses a PhD in Multiscale Mechanics from the University of Twente and multiple master's degrees in Mathematical Modelling in Engineering through the Erasmus Mundus programme.
