Yuxing Zhang

Yuxing Zhang, P.E. is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, project management, and advanced engineering applications. Notably, Yuxing served as a Capstone Project Design Specialist at UC Berkeley, focusing on integrating a Flywheel Energy Storage System into hybrid vehicles to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. At Applied Materials, Yuxing advanced to a Senior Mechanical Engineer role, designing hardware for high-temperature plasma environments and optimizing wafer stress measurement tools. Previous experiences include leading the design of a Powder Bed Fusion Metal 3D Printing Machine at VELO3D and contributing to computational fluid dynamics projects as a CFD Engineer Intern at LHP Engineering Solutions.
