Sean Ryan is an experienced writer and developer in the comic book and entertainment industry, currently serving as a Story and Setting Developer at Asmodee Group since October 2022. With a robust freelance career since June 2013, Sean has contributed to major publishers such as Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Disney Publishing, including notable work on the New Suicide Squad for DC Comics. Previous roles include Writer/Editor for Splinterlands, Writer’s Assistant for Marvel TV’s animated program Howard the Duck, Script Coordinator for NBC’s Powerless, and Creative Associate at DC Comics. Sean began in the industry as an Assistant Editor at Marvel Comics, working on the X-Men line. Educationally, Sean holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/TV from New York University.
