Anthony Botrel

Lead Online Programmer at Asobo Studio

Anthony Botrel has a strong and diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Anthony started their career as a Software Engineer at Ubisoft Annecy in 1999, where they worked on various Assassin's Creed games as a Network and Online engineer. Anthony then moved up to become a Network programmer and later a Senior network programmer, where they maintained and improved game network subsystems and developed online services. In 2013, they owned and worked at LuxIn Studio before joining Asobo Studio in 2014. At Asobo Studio, they started as a Senior Programmer before being promoted to the roles of Senior Online Programmer and eventually Lead Online Programmer.

Anthony Botrel studied Software Engineering at Université de Rennes I from 1994 to 1996, earning a DUT degree. Anthony then pursued further education at Munster Technological University from 1996 to 1999, where they completed a BSc degree in Software Development.
