Florian Bonnin

Gameplay/UI programmer at Asobo Studio

Florian Bonnin has a strong background in game development, with experience in various roles and companies. Florian started their career in 2009 with an internship in web development at Laboratoire GHYMAC. In 2010, Florian was a student at ENJMIN, where they worked on games using UDK (unreal script) and Unity (C#) engines. Florian also had an internship at Laboratoire Trèfle, where they focused on construction engine simulation using C++ with OpenGL and SDL.

In 2011, Florian worked as a smartphone developer at Pohlm Studio, creating a political game for Windows Phones. Florian then joined Eko Software in 2012 as a Gameplay and Engine programmer. Florian worked on projects such as Etherium at Tindalos Interactive, where they were a Unity developer focusing on Gameplay, UI, and Steam integration.

Florian joined Kylotonn Games in 2014 as a C++ developer, contributing to games like Tourist Trophy and WRC 5. Florian'sresponsibilities included general development tasks such as shaders, gameplay, network, and Steam integration.

Most recently, Florian has been working at Asobo Studio since 2017 as a Gameplay/UI programmer.

Florian Bonnin earned a Master's degree in Programmation from ENJMIN, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Numerical Image and Sound Developer from IUT Bordeaux 1, attending from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, Florian obtained a French degree after a two-year course in Computer Technology from IUT Bordeaux 1, which they completed from 2007 to 2009.
