Ofer Rotschield has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the technology sector. Ofer is currently serving as the VP R&D at ASOCS since August 2020. Prior to this role, Ofer worked at Marvell Semiconductor as the Network Adapters Firmware Manager from October 2017 to August 2020. At Marvell, they led the embedded software development for the FastLinQ product line and played a key role in chip definition, validation, testing, and bring-up.

From July 2015 to October 2017, Ofer held the position of Software Development Manager at SURE Universal Ltd. (Tekoia). In this role, they managed R&D activities for the development of mobile and cloud platforms for IoT control. Additionally, they integrated new smart-home protocols and emerging standards to gain a competitive advantage.

Ofer also worked at SanDisk as the Firmware Group Leader, leading the Flash Management Firmware Group from March 2013 to June 2015. In this role, they developed algorithms to enhance device performance and reliability while also supporting various NAND flash types.

Before joining SanDisk, Ofer worked as the Embedded Software Manager at Airspan Networks from August 2012 to March 2013. Prior to that, they served as the CESR Embedded Software Team Leader at ECI Telecom from July 2010 to July 2012.

In 2006, Ofer returned to ASOCS as the System Software Team Leader, where they developed a wireless communication processor supporting multiple programmable air interfaces. Prior to that, they were the Software R&D Team Leader at Avaya from July 2001 to March 2006, leading teams in the development and support of the organization's primary products.

Ofer's career began at Computer Associates, where they worked as the R&D Manager from February 1998 to June 2001. Here, they delivered antivirus technology for various platforms and initiated new products that contributed to the company's success. Prior to their time at Computer Associates, Ofer worked as a real-time embedded software developer, implementing networking routing protocols software at Lannet/Madge, which later became Avaya.

Overall, Ofer Rotschield has extensive experience in software development, firmware development, team management, and leading R&D activities within the technology sector.

Ofer Rotschield completed a High School degree in Computer Programming at Ort Yad Singalovski from 1984 to 1987. Ofer then pursued a Bsc degree in Economics and Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University from 1992 to 1997. Later, they obtained an MBA from Israel Jobs, from 2006 to 2010.
