Peter Rothstein

Peter Rothstein is a Producing Artistic Director, freelance director, writer, and community leader with over 30 years of experience in theater. They have directed more than 200 productions across North America, earning recognition as an award-winning director and a commitment to fostering inclusive and innovative storytelling. As the founding Artistic Director of Theater Latté Da, Peter cultivated a celebrated non-profit theater that has thrived for 24 years, emphasizing community engagement and artistic excellence. Currently, Peter serves as the Stage Director at Minnesota Opera and the Producing Artistic Director at Asolo Repertory Theatre while continuing to teach masterclasses across various institutions. They hold a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts Direction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's Degree in Theater and Music from Saint John's University.
